What I enjoy most about my writing process is that I keep it flexible depending on what I am writing. If I am writing informally, I will just write and write and write and see where it takes me. At the end, I’ll go back and make edits. For formal writing, I will not just write. I will brainstorm, research, and even create an outline. I hope to improve my use of diction and rhetorical devices so I create more sophisticated pieces. As a writer, I hope to grow in confidence so that I am less of a perfectionist when writing–this way I can write more in less time. I am looking forward to growing as a writer throughout this semester.
